With a keyword of "scientific thinking of education" in our mind, we offer e-Testing / e-Learning services and Test operation outsourcing services through leveraging learning science and EdTech. We aim to become an EdTech company to realize the next-generation education globally.

Our group is consisted of EduLab, Inc. which is a holding company, one Japanese operating company, three overseas business companies, and one venture fund operating company.

We have been developing measuring and testing methods of the academic skills and providing educational services as well as IT solutions and platforms to support the next-generation education. Our main clients are official testing organizations such as the Eiken Foundation*, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, official institutions belonging to local public organizations, corporations, companies related to education, incorporated educational institutions and other.

In addition, we are developing our business by expanding our area of operations beyond Japan to international markets starting from Asia

1. e-Testing / e-Learning services

With the Eiken Foundation as our main client, we provide educational services to educational institutions such as universities, private companies and individuals.

Ei-navi / StudyGear, EIKEN Jr.

We develop and offer online services to support English learners, jointly with Eiken* and others.
Ei-navi / StudyGear: we offer "Ei-navi", an online platform for application for Eiken examination and English learning and "Study Gear", a learning tool for Eiken applicants.
EIKEN Jr. : we run and operate the English education and testing program focused on students at schools and cram schools commissioned by Eiken.

TEAP CBT, CASEC, test system provision

TEAP CBT: License systems and contents related to English skills test for college admission examination developed jointly with Eiken and Sophia University
CASEC: English skills test to quickly and accurately measure the ability of the test examinees based on IRT and adaptive concepts.
Test system provision: Provide a testing module to measure the Eiken speaking ability, an Eiken group testing support system, AI-OCR-based grading systems or others.

*1 Note: Our registered trademark TesTECH offers a total solution package with its CBT (Computer-based Testing) system comprising test administration, scoring and delivery of results.
*2 Note: IRT (Item Response Theory) is a theory for accurately assessing the skills of test-takers in a way that is not influenced by the difficulty of standardized test items like those of conventional tests. By using CAT (Computer Adaptive Testing) to automatically analyze test-takers’ responses to test items, it is possible to accurately assess test-takers’ skills regardless of the difficulty of the test items.

2. Test operation outsourcing segment

We accept contracts for the operation of academic skill research projects of national and rural governments, or other testing organizations. We also undertake system development and content development as well as provide test analysis and consulting services for Eiken Foundation, educational institutions, private companies, and other clients.
